I remember also taking my glucose test during pregnancy where they draw blood after I drink a sugary drink as well. I remember getting shots but I forget if it was to get me to pee or for an actual glucose test haha

I used to enjoy getting my blood drawn cause it was easy peasy until I found out it makes me sick for two weeks (obviously flu shots do that and I didn’t realize till I was going into adulthood so I stopped going lol) didn’t get shots until I got pregnant as well

For the leg cramps, while it’s happening flex your feet all the way until it stops. The pain practically disappears. Pointing the feet will make it 10x worse

Pro tip- you do NOT have to do the glucose test! There are alternative ways to test for gestational diabetes 😊 I did a tiny finger prick over a few days and it was so easy and no yucky sugary drink that makes you sick! Lol

I’m also in third trimester and if I make sure I do at least 2 of these things I seem to avoid the restless legs and cramps: epsom salt bath, magnesium gummies, magnesium cream (spray doesn’t work as well for me) and a pillow between the legs (from thigh to ankles). Also trying to fall asleep with legs long as much as possible not scrunched up and flexing feet when waking. Good luck!

Great video! Remember to return your car seat to the correct position even when not used. It isn't fully secured when facing out and damages the seat :)

I had such jitters after my glucose test! A neighbor recommended a magnesium spray for leg cramps. Nothing like those during pregnancy 😮

I've also had the worse cramps with pregnancy! Been taking Magnesium and it's been a lot better :)

The best advice I ever got about Charley horses was to stand up and put weight on your leg as soon as it starts. I got so many when I was pregnant!

Try calcium for your leg cramps my chiropractor suggested that for me and it helped mine while pregnant I never tried magnesium!
